Kitchen extract access improvement projects
It is almost always the responsibility of the tenant to ensure their Kitchen Extract is cleaned and maintained to the current BESA TR19 Grease standards. It is the responsibility of the Tenants appointed Duct Cleaning Contractor (DCC) to provide a post clean report showing the results of the clean and to highlight areas that could not be cleaned.
Incomplete cleans are often a result of unsafe cleaning access. Ventair Compliance have established a tried and tested programme that provides safe cleaning access for the DCC. We oversee the TR19 Project utilising our clients existing contractors. By visiting site and providing a scope of works, Ventair Compliance then oversee the work and verify on completion. This ensures the client is getting value for its money whilst providing the DCC with the safe access required.

Furthermore, we our help Project teams deliver KED systems that are accessible for cleaning from their opening day. This is seen as invaluable to our clients as it negates the need for expensive TR19 access improvements years down the line when the installation contractor has outlived their retention timeframe.
